City Tour Arequipa
After your pick up from your hotel (hotels in the historic center), we will head towards the Yanahuara viewpoint, a traditional neighborhood that has preserved its colonial charm with its narrow streets and old houses that give it a typical Spanish look. Appreciate its churches and viewpoints, ashlar arches with inscriptions by Arequipa poets.
Continuing on, we will head to Carmen Alto, from where we will have a beautiful view of the Chilina Valley and the volcanoes that make up the city. We will visit the Inkalpaca and the Zoo, see 4 species of camelids, then continue to the Mansion Fundador, a colonial house that preserves ornaments of colonial and republican origin.
We will end our visit with the mills of Sabandio, here you can admire the wheat processing technique using two giant wheels and hydraulic power. Finally, on your way back to the city, cross the district of Paucarpata with its beautiful Pre-Inka terraces.

Arequipa: “the white city” of Arequipa located at 2337 meters above sea level, surrounded by imposing volcanoes, mainly the Misti Volcano, Chachani and Picchu Picchu.
Arequipa has baroque buildings built with sillar (white volcanic stone). In its historic center is the Plaza de Armas, and in it the neoclassical Cathedral Basilica from the 17th century.
Arequipa also stands out for having one of the deepest canyons in the world, the ” Colca Canyon “, with an approximate depth of 6,000 meters, and along the way you will find the Valley of the Volcanoes , which has great biodiversity.
