Day 1: Heading to the Colca Canyon
At 07:00 Pick up at the hotel and departure from Arequipa towards the Colca Canyon.
We head along the paved road towards Yura, crossing Pampa de Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas, observing the incompatible South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and migratory birds.
After arriving at Vizcachani, we enjoyed a coca tea to acclimatize our bodies to the altitude. Continuing along the route, we appreciated the tocjras, small lakes and boxwoods and at the same time observed some migratory birds such as flamingos and ibis.
Continuing on, we reach the highest point of the Patapampa route, also known as the viewpoint of the Volcanoes. From there, you can see the Volcanic chain in particular: Hualcahualca, Sabancalla and Ampato. After the view, we descend to the town of Chivay. (3600 m) Lunch.
Hotel accommodation.
In the afternoon, optional visit to the Calera Hot Springs (hotel in Chivay), where we will stay for approximately two hours. These hot springs have thermal medicinal waters, which exceed 40 °C; good for body ailments.
Day 02: Cross of the Condor
In the morning at 5:30 am we will have breakfast at the hotel. Then we will head towards Cruz del Condor where we will stay for approximately 2 hours. This is a place where you can appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon in its greatest dimension and also the flight of the Condor at short distance.
On the way back we will observe archaeological remains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces and other panoramic views of the Colca Canyon. We will pass through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, Yanque, in the latter we will make a stop, where we will be able to observe its typical churches, its craft center, the typical clothing of its inhabitants, among others.
Arrival in Chivay and lunch.
17:00 approx. Arrival in Arequipa.

Arequipa: “the white city” of Arequipa located at 2337 meters above sea level, surrounded by imposing volcanoes, mainly the Misti Volcano, Chachani and Picchu Picchu
Colca Canyon: It is one of the most important tourist attractions in Arequipa, located 170 km from Arequipa, and at 3,651 meters above sea level, along the way you can see 80 small volcanoes.
Patapampa: known as the Mirador de los Andes, located at 4,910 meters above sea level, it is known because from this height you can see all the volcanoes in the area.
Condor Canyon: The trail runs along the edge of the canyon, below which runs the Colca River. At a depth of 1200 meters, this is a place to observe the depth of the canyon, the vegetation and most importantly, the flight of the condors.
