Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – Cusco City Tour and Archaeological Sites
Arrival at Cusco Airport and transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to rest and acclimatize to the altitude before starting your Cusco Tour Package 4 Days – Cusco and Sacred Valley Tour. It is recommended to rest during the morning to adapt to the altitude of Cusco city.
In the afternoon, around 1:30 pm, we will begin the Cusco City Tour, starting from main square of Cusco to visit the main tourist attractions and Inca archaeological sites located near the city.
The first place to visit will be the Qoricancha Temple, also known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most important religious centers of the Inca Empire, built on original Inca foundations where the Sun god was worshiped. Here you can still see the impressive Inca stone walls combined with colonial architecture.
Next, we will visit the Sacsayhuamán Fortress, one of the most impressive archaeological complexes in Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones fitted together with incredible precision. Some of these stones reach up to 9 meters (30 feet) in height and weigh more than 300 tons.
We will continue with the visit to the Qenqo Temple, considered a ceremonial and religious center where the Incas performed important rituals and ceremonies.
After that, we will visit the Puca Pucara Military Site, which served as a strategic control and resting place for Inca soldiers.
Finally, we will visit the Tambomachay Temple, also known as the Inca Baths, famous for its water fountains and Inca water channels that still carry crystal-clear water throughout the year.
At the end of the tour, return to Cusco city and free evening at the hotel.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Incas Tour
Your Cusco Classic Tour 4 Days continues with an immersive journey through the Sacred Valley. At 7:30 am, our staff will pick you up at your hotel to begin the Sacred Valley Tour. Our journey towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas officially starts at 8:00 am. First, we will visit the Corao craft center, where you can appreciate local textiles and crafts for about 10 minutes. This offers a glimpse into traditional Andean artistry.
Next, we pass through the town of Pisaq to reach the archaeological park of Pisaq. This fascinating town was built on the slopes of a hill, featuring impressive Inca terraces shaped like a partridge. On the way back to the town of Pisaq, we will enjoy a 10-minute visit to a silver workshop, observing local craftsmanship. This segment offers a rich blend of culture and history, essential for your Sacred Valley Machu Picchu experience.
Continuing our journey, we will arrive at Urubamba for a lunch break of about 40 minutes. Afterward, we proceed towards the historic town of Ollantaytambo. This town was strategically built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley. It also protected it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle. This extensive exploration ensures a deep understanding of the Inca legacy within your 4 Days Cusco Tour.
Trip to Machu Picchu
At 4:00 pm, once our visit is over, we will approach the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu station, the hotel transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Our tour guide will provide directions for the visit to the Machu Picchu citadel. You will then have a free night to enjoy the unique charms of Machu Picchu Town, anticipating your full exploration of the ancient wonder on Day 3.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tours

After breakfast, at the time indicated by our guide, we will board the Consettur bus from Machu Picchu Town to the archaeological park. We will travel along a zigzagging path rich with the flora and fauna that surrounds Machu Picchu. At the control gate of the citadel, we will present our tickets to enter with our tour guide. Together with our guide, we will embark on an extensive tour lasting 2 and a half hours through the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. We will visit the Guardian’s House, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Machu Picchu next to Huanapicchu. Our exploration includes the stone quarry, the majestic temple of the sun, and the intriguing temple of the 3 windows. We will also cover the agricultural area and the urban area, delving into the daily life and ceremonial functions of this ancient Inca city. At the end of our guided tour, we will have time for an average of one hour to rest inside the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We will then take the bus to return to the town of Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). Depending on the departure time of our train, we will arrive at the train station 30 minutes before to board the train and return to Ollantaytambo.
