Day 1: Airport Pickup & Cusco City Tour
Your adventure begins the moment you land. We will pick you up from the Cusco airport. Then, we transfer you to your hotel. Our Aremika Travel team will greet you there.
We will explain all the details of your upcoming tour. At 1:15 p.m., we start the Cusco city tour. We explore the historic Plaza de Armas. Then, we visit the legendary Qoricancha Temple.
A comfortable bus will take us to the Sacsayhuamán archaeological park. We will also discover the mystical temples of Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. The tour concludes at 7:00 p.m., leaving you free to enjoy Cusco’s magical evening.

Day 2: Cusco – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes
The road calls early today. At 7:00 a.m., our team picks you up. We begin a scenic drive towards the Sacred Valley.
The journey takes us past stunning landscapes to the town of Ollantaytambo. From there, we ascend to the road’s highest point, “Abra Málaga.” This mountain pass sits at a breathtaking 4,316 meters. The views are truly spectacular.
Around 2:00 p.m., we arrive at the Hidroeléctrica station. Here begins our beautiful hike to Aguas Calientes. The walk takes about 2.5 hours along a scenic path. Upon arrival, we escort you to your hotel. Your guide will provide a full briefing for your visit to Machu Picchu.
Day 2 Stats

Day 3: Sunrise at Machu Picchu
Today is the day you have been waiting for. Breakfast is served from 5:00 a.m. Afterward, you can begin the early ascent to the Machu Picchu citadel. This is an invigorating hike of about 1.5 hours.
Alternatively, you can take a 25-minute bus ride. Your expert guide will lead a comprehensive tour. This tour of the archaeological complex lasts at least two hours. You will learn the secrets of the Inca city.
You will then have free time to explore on your own. At 11:30 a.m., we recommend starting your descent to Aguas Calientes. This gives you time for the return journey. The final part of your Machu Picchu Tour by Car 4 Days begins with the hike back to Hidroeléctrica, then the drive back to Cusco, arriving around 9:30 p.m.
