Day 1: Arrival in Puno & Gateway to the Past at Sillustani
Your adventure begins upon your arrival at the airport or bus station in the Juliaca/Puno region. Our friendly Aremika Travel representative will be there to greet you.
From there, we’ll travel towards Puno, but first, we journey back in time with a visit to the magnificent Sillustani archaeological site. Here, you’ll marvel at the towering pre-Inca “chullpas,” funerary towers that stand sentinel over the serene Lake Umayo.
Your guide will explain the history of these incredible structures and the cultures that built them. Afterward, we will continue to Puno, the capital of Peruvian folklore, and transfer you to your hotel, leaving you to acclimatize to the high altitude and anticipate the wonders to come.

Day 2: The Floating Islands of Uros & Amantaní Homestay
After breakfast, we head to the Port of Puno and board our comfortable boat. Our first stop is one of the most unique places on Earth: the Uros Floating Islands.
You will learn how the Uros people have built their homes, boats, and very existence from the buoyant totora reeds for centuries. After this fascinating visit, we navigate deeper into the vast blue expanse of the lake towards Amantaní Island.
Here, you will experience the heart of our Puno and Lake Titicaca Tour 4 Days. Local families will welcome you into their homes with open arms.
You’ll share a delicious, traditional lunch made from local products, hike to the island’s highest point to visit the Pachatata temple, and witness one of the most spectacular sunsets of your life over the sacred lake.

Day 3: The Weaver's Island of Taquile & Return to Puno
You will wake to the tranquil sounds of island life and share a final breakfast with your host family. We then board our boat for the short journey to Taquile Island, a place renowned for its incredible textile art, recognized by UNESCO.
The men of Taquile are the master weavers, and you will have the opportunity to learn about their craft and the ancient Inca moral principles, “do not steal, do not be lazy, do not lie”, that still govern their community.
We will enjoy lunch on the island before taking a scenic walk down the island’s 565 steps to the main port. In the afternoon, we begin our relaxing boat journey back to Puno, where we will transfer you to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 4: Departure from Puno
