Day 1: Airport Reception – City Tour:
We begin our 7-day Majestic Cusco Program with a reception at the Cusco airport to transfer you to your hotel where you can acclimatize.
At 1:30 pm we will begin our tour from the main square of Cusco to visit:
QORICANCHA TEMPLE , built on the base of the Inca foundation where the “sun” god was worshipped, where the Inca walls are still preserved.
Then the SACSAYHUAMAN Fortress , a place of offering to the Sun God, famous for its enormous polished and molded stones, some of which are 9m high and weigh 350 tons. Next is the Qenqo Temple : the mystical temple of the Qenqo Incas where religious sacrifices were made,
and finally the PUCA PUCARA Military Center ; known as the inn of the Inca soldiers; and the TAMBOMACHAY Temple . This monument is known as “The Bath of the Ñusta” due to the existence of two aqueducts that carry crystal clear water all year round. At the end Return and free night.
Day 2: Maras– Moray – Salineras
At 8:30 am we will pick you up from your hotel and begin our adventure towards Chincheros.
In Chinchero at 3780 meters above sea level where we will visit its traditional market and we will be able to be part of its culture and crafts.
Continuing on, we will go towards the circular platforms of Maras Moray and take a colorful route, passing through very typical towns and beautiful landscapes that we can enjoy.
Moray is a set of enormous terraces that overlap concentrically in a gigantic hole, these beautiful terraces that served in the Inca era as an agricultural laboratory “Greenhouse Prototype”
Finally we will visit the Salineras located northwest of the town of Maras, which consist of about 2,000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², exploited since the Inca era, the Colonial era and which are still exploited by the locals.
After our visit we will return to the city of Cusco.
Day 3: Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain Tour
Our scenic drive will last approximately 2 hours, taking us to Cusipata, where we will start the day with a delicious and energizing breakfast. This is the perfect time to enjoy a hearty meal before embarking on our hike.
After breakfast, we will continue our journey for another hour and a half, heading towards Vinicunca, also known as the Rainbow Mountain. Upon arrival, we will begin our hike, which will take about 1.5 hours. The trail will lead us through breathtaking Andean landscapes, culminating at the highest point of 5,000 meters above sea level.
At this elevation, we will be greeted with spectacular views of the “Mountain of Seven Colors,” renowned for its vibrant and varied hues. This stunning natural wonder is a highlight of the trek, offering excellent photo opportunities and a chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Andes.
After our time at Vinicunca, we will make our way back to Cusipata. There, a delicious and comforting lunch will await us, allowing us to rest and reflect on our adventure in the Vinicunca mountain range.
With our appetite satisfied, we will embark on the return journey to Cusco. We anticipate arriving in the city around 6:00 pm, where you will have the evening free to relax and unwind from the day’s activities.
Dia 4: Tours Humantay Lake
At 4:30 am to 5:00 am our transfer will pass by your hotel to pick you up and take you to our starting point.
At 5:00 am we will start our journey with the tour guide taking the road to Abancay. After approximately an hour and a half we will arrive at Limatambo from where we will take the detour to Mollepata where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Then we will continue by bus for another hour to Soraypampa. Here we will get ready for our hike, ascending for approximately 1 hour to the Humantay Lagoon; after a time of visiting and exploring the place and the view of the Humantay mountain in the Vilcabamba chain in the Andes in the company of our guide who will explain to us about this magnificent place, we will then begin the journey back to Soraypampa to enjoy a delicious lunch and return to the city of Cusco.
Approximate arrival in the city of Cusco 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Day 5: Tour Sacred Valley of the incas
We start with pick up from your hotel at 8:30 am, and then board our tourist bus heading to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
After a 30-minute drive we arrive at the Corao craft center where we will make a 20-minute stop, then we continue towards the town of Pisaq from where we can enjoy a beautiful view of the sacred valley. Once in the Pisaq Archaeological Park we will have a 40-minute guided tour of the archaeological park. After the visit we descend to the town of Pisaq and visit its market.
Continuing our journey, along the Vilcanota River that runs through the entire Sacred Valley, we moved to Urubamba to rest and have time for lunch in a local restaurant prepared with local ingredients.
After a 40-minute rest we continue the trip to Ollantaytambo where we will visit the archaeological park for about 30 to 40 minutes.
At the end of our visit to Ollantaytambo we will board the train to the town of Machu Picchu. We will spend the night there and rest before visiting the most important attraction in Peru the next day: Machu Picchu.
Day 6: Visit to Machu Picchu
According to the time indicated by our guide, we will approach the Consettur bus station to board and begin our most desired journey: “MachuPicchu”.
Together with our guide we will tour the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu for 2 and a half hours, we will visit the Guardian’s House from where we will have a panoramic view of Machu Picchu next to Huanapicchu, the stone quarry, the temple of the sun, the temple of the 3 windows, the agricultural area and the urban area.
After our guided tour, we will return by bus to the village, where you will have time to enjoy lunch and ensure you are on time for the train departure.
Depending on the departure time of our train, we will be present 30 minutes before departure to board the train and return to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo our transfer will be waiting for you to board the bus to the city of Cusco, ending our tour in Plaza San Francisco.
Day 7: Hotel – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel.
If you leave Cusco at night, we can schedule a service at an additional cost or take the day off to tour the imperial city and visit the traditional market of San Pedro, where you can find local produce.
After having enjoyed all our services, we will say goodbye at the airport or bus terminal in Cusco.
