One of the most important tasks when planning your trip is securing your entrance tickets to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Site. Entry is limited to 4,300 people per day at this UNESCO World Heritage Site, and tickets sell out quickly, especially during peak season (June to August). 2. Buy in Person in Cusco
Go to the Regional Directorate of Culture office with your passport: Address: Avenida de la Cultura 238, Condominio Huáscar, Cusco Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:15 AM to 6:30 PM. Closed Sundays and holidays. This option is riskier during high season when tickets are scarce.
3. Book Through a Tour Operator
Many agencies offer ticket packages and guided tours. This is often the easiest and most reliable method.
