How it affects visitors.
For those who book at the last minute, they will have to adjust to the visiting hours according to availability, so it is advisable to make reservations in advance and avoid inconveniences when visiting Machu Picchu . If you plan to visit with friends or family, plan your tourist visit to Machu Picchu in advance.
Although the entry times to the Machu Picchu llaqta had already been established for the year 2023, these times have not been respected, in this way facilities have been given to visitors to be able to buy at any of the available times, someone who had entry at 6:00 am could visit the llaqta after that time, without any restriction on the time of entry.
With this new modification, if your entrance to the Machu Picchu is at 6:00 am or 7:00 pm you will have to stay one night in the citadel of Machu Picchhu in order to attend the guided visit to Machu Picchu, for which you would have to have a 2-day tour to Machu Picchu , which you can do by train with the Sacred Valley tour or also by the Amazon route by bus.
With these new regulations, remember to plan your trip in advance to avoid unpleasant experiences.
