Day 1: Pick up Airport Cusco – City Tour:
Magical Cusco 5 days, begins with the reception at the Cusco airport to transfer you to your hotel where you can acclimatize, before starting our scheduled tour.
At 1:30 pm we will begin our tour from the main square of Cusco to visit:
QORICANCHA TEMPLE , built on the basis of the Inca foundation where the “sun” god was worshipped, where the Inca walls are still preserved.
Then the SACSAYHUAMAN Fortress , a place of offering to the Sun God, famous for its enormous polished and molded stones, some of which are 9m high and weigh 350 tons. Next is the Qenqo Temple : the mystical temple of the Qenqo Incas where religious sacrifices were made,
and finally the PUCA PUCARA Military Center ; known as the inn of the Inca soldiers; and the TAMBOMACHAY Temple . This monument is known as “The Bath of the Ñusta” due to the existence of two aqueducts that carry crystal clear water all year round. At the end Return and free night.
At 4:30 am to 5:00 am we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our Rainbow Mountain tour to the south of Cusco. We will travel approximately 2 hours to reach Cusipata and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
We will then continue for another hour and a half until we reach the Vinicunca mountain range and begin our hike for approximately an hour and a half until we reach the highest point of the Rainbow Mountain, at over 5,000 meters above sea level, where we will be able to enjoy an impressive view of the “mountain of 7 colors.”
Finally, at the end of our visit we will return to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious lunch that will comfort us after our adventure in the Vinicunca mountain range.
We will then return to the city of Cusco where we will arrive at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Dia 3: Tour Al Valle Sagrado De Los Incas
At 8:00 am our staff will pick you up at your hotel to begin the tour to the Sacred Valley.
At 8:30 am we begin our journey towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First we will visit the Corao craft center, where we will be able to appreciate the local textiles and crafts for about 10 minutes.
Next we will pass through the town of Pisaq to reach the archaeological park of Pisaq, a town built on the slopes of the hill with Inca terraces that make the shape of a partridge. On the way back to the town of Pisaq we will have a 10-minute visit to a silver workshop.
Continuing on, we will arrive at Urubamba to have lunch for about 40 minutes, and then continue towards the town of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle.
Trip to Machu Picchu
At 4:00 pm, once our visit is over, we will approach the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu station, the hotel transfer will be waiting to take you to the hotel where our tour guide will give us directions for the visit to the Machu Picchu citadel.
Free night to enjoy the charms of Machu Picchu Town.
Day 4: Tours A Machupicchu
After breakfast, at the time indicated by our guide, we will board the Consettur bus from Machu Picchu Town to the archaeological park, along a zigzagging path full of flora and fauna that surrounds Machu Picchu. At the control gate of the citadel, we will present our tickets to enter with our tour guide.
Together with our guide we will tour for 2 and a half hours to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, we will visit the Guardian’s House from where we will have a panoramic view of Machu Picchu next to Huanapicchu, the stone quarry, the temple of the sun, the temple of the 3 windows, the agricultural area and the urban area.
At the end of our guided tour we will have an average of one hour to rest inside the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We will then take the bus to return to the town of Machu Picchu.
Depending on the departure time of our train, we will arrive at the train station 30 minutes before to board the train and return to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo our transfer will be waiting for you to board the bus to the city of Cusco, ending our tour in Plaza San Francisco.
Day 5: Hotel - Airport / Bus Station
Breakfast at the hotel. If you leave Cusco at night, we can schedule a service at an additional cost or take the day off to tour the imperial city of Cusco and visit the traditional market of San Pedro, where you can find local produce.
After having enjoyed all our services, this day will be our farewell at the airport of the city of Cusco or the bus station.
