Itinerary: A Day in the Ancient World
Our adventure begins before sunrise as we pick you up from your hotel in Lima. We’ll travel north along the Pan-American Highway, watching the bustling cityscape give way to the serene landscapes of the coastal desert.
After a strategic stop for breakfast, we’ll arrive at the Supe Valley, a place where history sleeps. Here, you will step out of our vehicle and into a lost world. Your expert guide will lead you through the sprawling Sacred City of Caral, explaining the purpose of its great pyramids, sunken plazas, and residential complexes.
After immersing ourselves in Caral’s mysteries and enjoying a well-deserved lunch, our journey continues to the nearby archaeological site of Bandurria, an ancient fishing settlement with its own impressive pyramids overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
As the sun begins to set, we will begin our comfortable return journey to Lima, arriving back at your hotel in the evening with memories of a day spent at the dawn of civilization.
