Day 1: Welcome to Iquitos & Amazon River Navigation
Your adventure begins in Iquitos, the world’s largest city inaccessible by road. We will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the bustling Nanay port.
Here, you will board our private boat and begin your journey, witnessing the incredible “Meeting of the Waters” where the dark Nanay River converges with the café-au-lait-colored Amazon.
As we navigate downstream, leaving civilization behind, keep your eyes peeled for your first wildlife sightings. Upon arrival at our comfortable jungle lodge, you’ll be welcomed with a tropical drink.
After settling in and enjoying lunch, we’ll embark on a late-afternoon jungle walk to learn about medicinal plants. After dinner, an exciting night boat excursion awaits, where we’ll search for caimans and other nocturnal creatures.

Day 2: Pink Dolphins, Piranhas & Native Community Visit
Awake to the symphony of the jungle. After breakfast, we set out on a full-day river exploration. Our primary mission is to search for one of the Amazon’s most magical creatures: the pink river dolphin.
Navigating through serene blackwater lakes and channels, our expert guide will lead us to their favorite feeding spots. We will also stop to try our hand at piranha fishing, a thrilling and classic Amazonian experience.
In the afternoon, we will visit a local Kukama community. Here, you will have the opportunity for a respectful cultural exchange, learning about their traditions, their deep connection to the river, and their way of life.

Day 3: Canopy Walkway & Departure from Iquitos
On our final day, we experience the rainforest from a completely different perspective. After an early breakfast, we will visit a nearby canopy walkway, a series of suspension bridges hanging high above the forest floor.
From this vantage point, you can observe the rich biodiversity that thrives in the treetops, a world rarely seen from below. It is a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. After this final adventure, we will navigate back upriver to Iquitos.
